AIUS Publishing House
This return policy applies to products purchased online from the website www.aius.ro, by consumers, natural persons, in accordance with the provisions of GEO no. 34/2014 and the applicable consumer protection legislation.
1. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the distance sales contract, without specifying the reasons, within 14 calendar days from the date on which they or a person designated by them, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the products.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send an unequivocal statement regarding the decision to withdraw before the expiry of the 14 days.
2. Return procedure
To request a return, the customer can send an email to:
The request can include the order number, the customer's name and the products he wants to return.
After the communication of the decision of withdrawal, the products must be shipped or handed over to AIUS Publishing within no more than 14 calendar days.

The customer can use a courier or postal service to ship the products.
3. Book return conditions
Books may be examined by the customer to verify their nature, characteristics and condition, similar to the examination allowed in a bookstore.
The customer is only responsible for the diminution in value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this inspection.
Opening the package or ordinary examination of a book does not automatically result in the loss of the right to withdrawal.
4. Return costs
In case of withdrawal from the contract without invoking a non-conformity, the direct cost of sending the products back is borne by the customer, provided that he has been properly informed before placing the order.
In the case of non-conforming products, damaged on delivery or wrongly delivered, the legal rights of the consumer apply, without costs for bringing the products into compliance.
5. Reimbursement of sums
In case of valid withdrawal from the contract, AIUS Publishing will refund all sums received from the consumer, including the cost of the initial standard delivery, within 14 calendar days at most from the date of notification of the decision to withdraw.
There is no obligation to reimburse the additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery offered.
The AIUS publishing house can postpone the refund until the receipt of the returned products or until the proof of their shipment is received, taking into account the closest date.
The refund is made by the same payment method used in the initial transaction, unless the customer expressly accepts another method, without additional costs for him.
6 . Defective or non-compliant products
If a book is defective, damaged or does not correspond to the order, the customer can contact the AIUS Publishing House at contact@aius.ro.
Consumers benefit from the remedies provided by the legislation regarding the conformity of goods, including repair or replacement, proportional reduction of the price or termination of the contract, in accordance with the law.
7. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that fall under the exceptions expressly provided by art. 16 of GEO no. 34/2014.
Ordinary printed books are not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal.
