Being in America, around 1986, I dreamed one night that Jorge Luis Borges called me. He then made me a proposal that stunned me. Later, mysterious roads led me to Eichendorf, the ancestral home of Joseph von Eichendorff. There, in the quiet, I read both Borges and von Eichendorff, and we began to visit in my white nights and talk. This book is the fruit of these meetings. Aurorea The poems have strength, explosive capacity (Fuga fantastica and especially the anthology Birch), but also unexpected humor (Indignea critisii), announcing the sparkling imaginary conversations with the tutelary spirit (Borges), which open, paradoxically, the gates to the long-forsaken land, haloed by legend, vitality, intelligence. Caracaleni, the Street with an imperial name impresses with the evocative tension skillfully strung, difficult to achieve by any artist who returns to his roots.
