The presence of Elena Farago in the context of Romanian interwar literature is, without a doubt, a significant progress, having an important contribution in the development of Romanian literature. "Tireless vestal of the sacred fire", as Perpessicius considered her, is cautiously placed by George Călinescu, after an exacting aesthetic evaluation, among the Symbolists, considering that she is capable of a "great emotional vibration" that makes her "a remarkable poet of chaste love". Elena Farago is entitled to a recovery of what remains valuable from her work, which, compared to the achievements of the era in which she wrote, is distinguished by its new breath, completely personal, by an unusual sensitivity and, last but not least, a beauty of expression, of poetic images, as well as a great availability to handle the poetic language.
