It is the first major book in Romanian culture dedicated to the Royal Academies of Bucharest and Iași (1630-1821). It highlights the philosophical contribution of T. Corydaleu, an illustrious representative of the Aristotelian rationalist philosophy that dominated higher education, starting from 1614 until 1780. At the Royal Academies, philosophy occupied the first place. The reference philosopher was Aristotle. Aristotle's teaching after Corydaleu's comments encouraged the slowing down of scholastic neo-Aristotelianism in our country. Greco-Romanian scholastic Neo-Aristotelianism, like Slavic-Romanian writings, are part of the most important "sources of Romanian philosophy". The work is a bibliophile rarity and a useful guide in the knowledge of philosophical beginnings from us.
