Arranged carefully in the back of a white box full of notebooks abundantly annotated and photographs more or less yellowed by the weather, my typewritten manuscript LIGHT-EYES-EARTH recovered, after my exile in France, by my mother, from the editorial archives in Romania, slept for more than 42 years. Firmly baked, 40 pages of poems, which were to be published in July of 1979 at the Youth Publishing House in Bucharest, stoically waited in a disintegrated cardboard dust, for me to discover them to bring them to light.
