MAI MULT CA PREZENTUL

"Don't touch my circles", he seemed to say, in the words of Archimedes addressed to the Roman soldier, Ştefan Aug. Doinaş, the poet of sumptuous ballads and so many lyrical jewels. More than once, however, he exchanged the pen of lyricism for the weapons of the citizen and the political fighter, just as the Greek scholar used his scientific genius to build war machines.
