Metacritice. Critica de tranziţie

The volume capitalizes on the metacriticism column supported by Sorina Sorescu in the magazine "Mozaicul" in the years 2003-2008, including articles and studies dedicated to some representative books of literary criticism published after 1989 as well as some reprints from the post-war criticism reread in a new context, the articles enjoying, at the time of publication in the magazine, wide echoes in the specialized press. Sorina Sorescu tackled the main books of criticism and literary theory, among which we mention: Eugen Negrici, Iluziile literaturii romane, Matei Călinescu, A citi, a reciti, Caius Dobrescu, Mihai Eminescu. The imaginary of the private space and the imaginary of the public space, Gheorghe Crăciun, The iceberg of modern poetry, Daniel Cristea Enache, Opening concert, Mircea Martin, G. Călinescu and the complexes of modern literature, Eugen Simion, The return of the author, Nicolae Manolescu, Post-war Romanian literature, Monica Lovinescu, Unde scurte et.a. Valorically, post-December criticism has not yet reached the level of post-war criticism. The author considers the criticism of the last decade and a half as a transitional phenomenon (searching, groping), a "paradigm change", with the still insufficiently honored promise of new concepts and methods.
