What are the layers of depth on which today's Romanians base the new construction of European Romania, what are the virtualities that can be converted into a modernity in which we can productively integrate ourselves as dialogue partners in the globalized world, all these are questions that have generated an intellectual project materialized in the new series of the magazine "Mozaicul", resuming almost ten years ago the first culture magazine from Oltenia, founded in Craiova by Constantin Lecca, the Transylvanian professor came to the Central School in Banie. The constructive approach was based on the "neopasoptist" ideological project conceived by Adrian Marino, the undisputed ideological leader of the group from Craiova. Nicolae Marinescu, the founding director of the new "Mosaic", evokes the circumstance that generated and made possible the realization of a cultural project validated by the evolution of Romanian culture, moments and personalities that shaped a program that, after a decade of sustained employment, shows its fruits, outlining the perspective of a new stage, from the formal, political and administrative integration of Romania into the European Union, to the new institutional construction and to the creative assimilation of the Western model, as a resource of the future desirable Romanian cultural profile: "To be Romanian and European at the same time".
