The book by Mihaela Albu and Dan Anghelescu comes at its time. The authors have compiled a very useful anthology of the articles published by Vintilă Horia in the magazines "Gândirea" and "Meşterul Manole". Rigorously, they present the historical context of the era in which Vintilă Horia had an amazing publishing activity, of course marked by inherent clumsiness, before becoming the great novelist who established himself around the world. Vintilă Horia's anthology of interwar journalism happily completes the intensive translation, in the last two years, of his novels, for a better knowledge of a brilliant representative of Romanian culture in exile.
