Cercul apercepției. Monografie psihologică asupra treptelor didactice formale

Circle of apperception brochure. Psychological monograph on the formal didactic steps saw the light of day in 1895, i.e. 129 years ago in Bucharest, in Lito-Tipografia Codreanu & Savoiu and is a bibliophile edition. The author starts his research from the theory of apperception and involuntary attention of J. Fr. Herbart who managed to develop a psychological system for organizing the didactic activity of the educator with the students for the purpose of establishing knowledge in a system. In this small work, the pedagogue Ştefan Velovan (1852-1932) recommends us to educate our apperception. This means to fix our ideas as well as possible in our consciousness, and to look earnestly at all that relates to our constant concerns, it also means to discipline our attention, so as to have it always helpful in the acquisition of new knowledge. The system of formal didactic steps elaborated by Herbart and adopted and adapted to the needs of our education by Ştefan Velovan contributed, substantially, to the development of the theory of the system of instruction in classes and lessons, offering the teaching staff, especially teachers, an instructional technique that allowed the organization of a systematic activity of the students. The Romanian pedagogue emphasized the systematization of the lesson, the process of receiving knowledge by the students and the teacher's authority. Adrian Michiduţă
