Filosofia iluministă

The manuscript of the work Enlightenment philosophy, unpublished until now, was written by the philosopher Mihai Uță between 1943-1944 in Bucharest. The text is written in pen on vellum paper, recto, with blue and green ink and has 214 pages. The title of the work was given by us, it being part of a larger work on the history of philosophy that the philosopher had been working on for several years. Mihai Uță also taught Enlightenment Philosophy in the History of Modern Philosophy course at the University of Iasi during the period when he was substituting for the History of Philosophy and Logic courses (1933-1939) of Minister Ion Petrovici. As an introductory study, we are publishing for the first time in Romanian, the communication of Ion Petrovici, French Philosophy in Romania. This was presented at the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences in Paris in 1933. All this is far from detracting from the text, giving it, for today's reader, greater fluency and editorial unity. The manuscript of the work was given to us by the philosopher's daughter, Mrs. Mihaela Căruntu, for publication. Edited by Adrian Michiduță.
