This book is based on Mircea Djuvara's (1886-1944) doctoral thesis, published in 1913, the year of her defense at the Sorbonne, at the "LIBRAIRIE DE LA SOCIÉTÉ DU RECUEIL SIREY", under the title Le fondement du phénomène juridique. Quelques réflexions sur les principes logiques de la connaissance juridique. Its translation under the title Fundamentals of the legal phenomenon. Reflections on the logical principles of legal knowledge represent, in our opinion, an action to recover one of the first and most important books on the philosophy of law in Romanian culture. It contains the germs of the entire Djuvarian thought, most of the later theses and ideas finding their foundations and methods here.
