L. M. Arcade - un scriitor român în exilul parizian

The writer L. M. Arcade (the literary pseudonym of Leonid Arcade Mămăligă), a remarkable, original and refined author, is still (almost) unknown in Romania, being (like other exiled intellectuals) banned during the communist period. Through this volume, we restore to the readers a large part of his literary and cultural activity in France (apart from the novels and plays, already republished) having the belief that in Romanian literature, one and indivisible, Arcade's work should be part of the whole of our literature. Mihaela Albu, Dan Anghelescu Leonid Mămăligă had the intelligence, ability and talent to bring together great spirits at the Cenacle in Neuilly for three decades. For me, L. M. Arcade is a renewer of the Romanian language, from the breed of cathedral builders. Basarab Nicolescu
