About this book

The present volume reproduces the princeps edition of the work published in 1935 at the Alexandru Pasere "Library Office" Publishing House in Bucharest, in a print run of a few copies, published at the author's expense. The philosopher Moses Maimonides presents his theoretical-philosophical conception in several works. The most important one is, of course, the Guide of the Wanderers (More Nebuhim). This book, as the author shows us in the dedication, aims to reconcile revelation with reason, the Bible with philosophy, which is why this book by the philosopher Mihai Uță is justified and necessary for knowing the thinker Moses Maimonides. Maimonides conceived his philosophical task as a religious task, a means of approaching the content of the revelation from within, the intimate religious conviction depending on the degree of philosophical comprehension, religious faith itself being a form of knowledge brought to the incandescence of self-intelligence by philosophy.
