Graduated from the Faculty of Letters (1995), University of Craiova. Master's degree in the specialty "Contemporary Romanian Language" (1996). Doctor of Philology – Romanian Academy (2015). Full member of the Romanian Writers' Union (since 1998). He published literary chronicles in "Scrisul Românesc" (where he is the editor) and in "Ramuri" between 1998 and 2000. After the creative scholarship, awarded by the Union of Writers (2007), he obtained the "Diploma of Excellence" (2007) and the "Marin Sorescu" Prize for poetry (2009), from the Publishing House and the magazine "Scrisul românesc".
