Repertoriu

Moldov is the pseudonym of Marcu Taingiu, avant-garde Romanian writer born on October 16, 1907 in Dorohoi and died on December 20, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland - United States of America. Other pseudonyms used are M.T. Moldovanu (in "Gazeta Dorohoiului"), Mac Tobacco or Sempronius (for texts written in collaboration with Saşa Pană). In the volume Repertoriu (1935) the "paralogical sketches" published by him in the unu magazine are collected, accompanied by the portrait of Moldov in pen bearing Victor Brauner's signature. Practically, this volume collects the texts published by Moldov in the column "Broken Lines" in Unu magazine. 2017 marks the 110th anniversary of Moldov's birth (and 2018 marks the 90th anniversary of the publication of Unu magazine!), so we believe that it is perhaps the most suitable moment for Sașa Pană's partner, with whom he initiated the avant-garde magazine published in Dorohoi, to re-enter the consciousness of the reading public and, possibly, to arouse the interest of new generations of researchers in the field of the historical avant-garde.
