Traian Dobrinescu's poetry is nourished by a state of soul-land belligerence, carried out almost severely attitudinally, in a constant regime of gravity. Fear is opposed to love, and these two quasi-obsessions, which also function as lyrical propellants, not only as confessional, possibly consoling discourse, are full, imagistically, of thresholds and traces. They are evanescent traces, waiting for extinction, like some endangered species, all the more precious. The author illustrates and defends this treasure of unique and inalienable experiences, as a mnemonic and redemptive exercise, of unspeakable melancholy, where, in this case, the source of poetry is always found.
