"Artificial insemination technology" represents the research effort in the field of reproduction of domestic animals. The content of this paper treats with high scientific responsibility the latest achievements in the field of reproduction with wide implications in the daily practice of farmers. I consider the appearance of such a work opportune in the conditions where there is an increased interest on the part of farmers to improve the genetic base of farm animals. Only through a well-directed reproduction, the genetic progress can be the expected one. Dissemination to farmers of modern technologies of directed reproduction has the role of informing about the most modern methods of increasing herds. The work deals with the physiological processes of farm animals as well as the practical actions that specialists must undertake to ensure reproduction in the desired direction.
