About this book

The paper aims to build a coherent theory for the idea that a mixing model in an excitable environment inevitably leads to a model far from equilibrium. The author focuses on some special results of analysis of mixing efficiency for two and three dimensional environments. It is worth noting the good agreement between the experimental results and those of mathematical modeling/computational simulation. A special vortexing technology is presented, capable of processing polluted fluids and generating new materials. Among the complex physical mechanisms that arise in that apparatus, we cite: convection (scalar transport) due to the current lines that are directed towards the closing cap near the tube walls and with the pressurized source near the center line of the tube; turbulent diffusion due to velocity and pressure fluctuation; stratification effects due to pressure and temperature gradients; turbulent mixing due to the concentration of velocity in the ring structures. 3D simulation of multiphase flows is still under study. The MAPLE11 software was used for the numerical calculations. The results of the experiments are presented in a large number of graphs that provide a very rich picture of the random events in the field of turbulent mixing. The area of great interest of the book, as well as the new way in which the problems addressed are solved, recommend the book for publication.
