Centenar Gellu Naum

Between December 4 and 5, 2015, the theme of the symposium "Craiova and the European avant-garde" was the surrealist work of Gellu Naum. The most recent edition also included an exhibition with color and black-and-white reproductions of the works of the artist Dragoș Pătrașcu from Iași inspired by Gellu Naum, as well as a performance based on Gellu Naum's poems entitled Ansa de ce, performed by the actress Daniela Ionescu. The present volume includes the full version of the papers presented at the third edition of the National Symposium "Craiova and the European avant-garde", as they were thought and rewritten following the debates.
