The reader who will turn his attention to this book will undoubtedly not regret the decision made; will travel, together with the main character, Horia-Dinu Nicolaescu, the path of a life whose history has not ended, the life that followed its turbulent course starting from the years of the second world war, traversing decades of communist nightmare and reaching the harbor of a true modern German democracy, which, however, does not equal the "Paradise on Earth"! It is the story of a remarkable musician, son of a Dolje boyar family, graduate of an excellent Romanian music school (the Bucharest Conservatory). With a spectacular start from his university days, continued with a beautiful musical career in the quadruple position of conductor, arranger, instrumentalist and manager (director), Horia-Dinu Nicolaescu does not deny his acting talents for a moment, being present in the book as the main character and storyteller ("Evangelist" of his own life!). Next to him, the one who scores "from the shadows" and discreetly orders the unfolding of the entire "intrigue" - Ion Munteanu.
