Teaching English through Drama

"The present work highlights the multiple benefits of using dramatic art in teaching English. Through the positive feedback obtained in the classroom following the use of dramatic techniques by Prof. Adelina-Leontina Dumitru, it is amply demonstrated that teaching English through them is an attractive alternative because it provides the appropriate context for both listening and language production, putting students in a position to use all their linguistic resources, thus improving their communication skills. Dramatic activities are successful among students because they use the language in a certain context or situation and involve them creatively. Thus, using this method in teaching English results in real communication involving feelings, emotions, adaptability.
