Lumea lui Sandokan: Tigrii din Mompracem

From the wild island of Mompracem, the nest of pirates who for 12 years spread terror in the seas of Malaysia in the fight against the English and Dutch colonists, Sandokan, also nicknamed "The Tiger of Malaysia", leaves for the island of Labuan. Here lives Marianna, the famous "Pearl of Labuan" renowned for her perfect beauty, the granddaughter of an Englishman hated by the people of Sandokan, because he had earned his sinister reputation as a "pirate exterminator". This was Lord James Guillonk, Sir James Brooke's trusted collaborator in the fight against the pirates, who were preventing the movement of English merchant ships through robberies. The Lord does not deny his nickname given by the pirates, and really "exterminates" the small flotilla of pirates that was approaching Labuan. Only Sandokan survives the fierce battle, wounded and found unconscious by the Lord's men, who do not realize that he was the terrible leader of the pirates. Moreover, the wounded Sandokan is cared for by the "Pearl of Labuan" herself. It follows the story of an irresistible love between the pirate, mortal enemy of the English, and the granddaughter of the "exterminator" of the pirates, with unexpected changes in situations and facing some adversities, which increase the love of the two. The reader is carried between Labuan and Mompracem, in a continuous suspense, witnessing, in the end, a completely unexpected denouement.
