The present paper is addressed to all those who care for children with omphalocele and gastroschisis: pediatric surgeons, neo-natologists, anesthesiologists, paediatricians, anatomopathologists, geneticists and represents the successes of the treatment in the last 25 years, with obvious positive results, both worldwide and in the Pediatric Surgery Clinic in Craiova.
